To request strains and plasmids made by retired John Innes Centre Group Leaders (Professors David Hopwood, Keith Chater, Mervyn Bibb and Mark Buttner) please contact jic.strepstrains@jic.ac.uk.

Requests for other historic strains will be considered if we can find them in our freezers and revive them. To the best of our knowledge all the strains and plasmids we ship are correct, but it is the responsibility of the recipient to check them before use.

All materials are shared subject to a Material Transfer Agreement which will be emailed to you. This MTA does not need to be signed and returned. Instead, use of the materials indicates acceptance of the MTA.

We ask that you accept the MTA and provide your shipping address and courier details before we prepare any materials for shipping. If you do not have a courier account, we may be able to cover the shipping costs but please state your case by email.

Royal mail can only be used for shipping materials within the UK.
